How planning works
Everything you plan in flourish lives in the Plans tab, under the heading Your plans. It’s organised into four kinds, each suited to a different sort of commitment:
| Kind | Use it for | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Habit | One practice you repeat, with its own schedule. | A daily walk |
| Routine | Activities you do together, sharing one schedule. | A morning routine of stretching, journaling and meditation |
| Plan | A schedule your coach builds with you, either for a fixed period or repeating. | A 12-week race build |
| Project | A bigger piece of work broken into next actions. | A house renovation |
Each kind is made of activities: the individual things you do on a given day, like a run or a to-do.
Goals are separate and optional. A goal is the bigger reason behind what you do (“Run a half marathon”, “Sleep better”). You can link a goal to any habit, routine, plan or project as “Your why”, but your plans work fine without one.
The Plans tab
- Tap Add to create a New habit, New routine or New project, or choose Plan with your coach to build something together.
- Sections appear in this order: Habits, Routines, Plans, Projects.
- Finished items are hidden. Tap Show finished to see them again.
- Pull down to refresh.
Pausing and finishing
Open any habit, routine, plan or project and tap the ⋯ menu:
- Pause stops new sessions until you tap Resume. Your coach can also pause something until a set date.
- Finish ends it for good. Nothing new is planned from it, but your history stays. There’s no delete, so finishing is how you retire something.
- Discuss with your coach opens a chat about whether anything needs adjusting.
- Name, goal & display opens its settings.
Where your coach fits in
Your coach can create, adjust and review all of this for you in conversation. Ask things like “Move my Thursday run to Friday”, “Build me a 4-week strength plan” or “I’m travelling next week, what should change?”. Anything you’ve already started or edited is kept as it is when your coach changes a schedule.
